Re: Does the stadium feel like home now?
We will never be 1-0 down to Stoke in the London in a Tuesday night.

I’m in an area that stands all game and sings all game. Yesterday I could hear noise from everywhere in the ground. Some areas were literally jumping. Its got more and more like this this season and it happens when we are winning.

Re: Does the stadium feel like home now?
Logically 60000 people together can be as noisy as they want. Really think a good atmosphere, or not, will reflect how well the team is doing. 0-1 down at home to Stoke on a cold Tuesday night, no doubt it would be fucking horrible in there.

Was wondering, when we first moved there were a lot of complaints about people not being where they wanted to be, not togetherwith pals, or in with different 'types' of fans, ie scarfers and flaskers in with chavs and the loud type etc. has this been sorted to an extent as the years have gone on, if so will also surely help with the atmos?

Steady is right.

We all knew it was officially the Boleyn Ground. But West Ham fans NEVER called it that.

Sounded amazing on my TV. The Spanish commentators even commented on what an incredible noise was being made by the West Ham support.

Go to the LS and be part of this. Have a few beers, make some noise, enjoy the game, celebrate the team.

Upon Park is flats, it isn't going to change.

It was bouncing. It does when we play well and beat a bitter rival and/or a big boy. Long may it continue.

Can you imagine, though, if 60,000 fans were as close to the action as Upton Park and we played that game?

Doesn't matter the stadium, its the team winning and the fans enjoying it...fucking magic today, fucking massive

I love a pedant who is WRONG.

Makes my day.

And it’s Upton Park not the Boleyn Ground

Re: Does the stadium feel like home now?
The atmosphere at Upton Park was often crap come the end. It’s not so much the atmosphere but more about what felt like home, and Upton Park was our home

*OTHER clubs' full houses*

Re: Does the stadium feel like home now?
The Boleyn Ground amplified the crowd. 2/3 full, it gave the advantage of clubs' full houses.

The London Stadium reflects it. If we're already flying, it's great. But it won't get us flying.

TBF, I've never been to the LS. But that's what it feels like over the streams.

I agree. If the team are playing well, the atmosphere will follow!

Re: Does the stadium feel like home now?
Someone asked me in 2018:

“Have you ever been to London Stadium? I loved it! Every time I walked out there and heard “Bubbles”, the hair on the back of my neck stood up.”

That someone was a certain David Moyes, six weeks or so after the board had released him in favour of Pellegrini. I wonder what he makes of it now!
